MARKET SHOPPING GUIDELINES

The market is a smoke-free & pet free zone within the street barricades.
Sorry, four-legged friends!

what to bring:

WATER BOTTLES

We strive to run a sustainable market as best we can, and one way we do this is by not allowing the sale of plastic water bottles. We will have plenty of other beverages available for purchase throughout the market, but encourage you to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. There will be a drinking fountain along the bike path just south of 7th & Jackson St.

CASH

Some vendors will be able to accept cards, but many will not. There will NOT be an ATM onsite, so bringing cash is recommended.

alcohol:

Beer & wine will be for sale beginning at 5pm when market begins; alcohol sales will end at 7:45 sharp
Vendor booths will still be open for shopping until 8pm.

Anyone 21+ who wishes to drink will need to present a valid ID & purchase drink tickets at the ID station table before being served.

COVID 19 SAFETY GUIDELINES

While some restrictions on public gatherings have been lifted by the state, we still ask shoppers to practice safe social distancing, and observe the guidelines below.

HERE'S WHAT WE'RE DOING TO REDUCE RISK AT MARKET:

-- Staggered booth layout to allow ample space for 6 ft. between shoppers in line.
-- Hand sanitizer pumps and hand-washing stations throughout market.

PLEASE RESPECT THE FOLLOWING SAFETY PRACTICES:

  • Do not attend if you feel ill or have any warning signs as specified by the CDC: https://bit.ly/cdc-health-check

  • Wear a mask if you have access to one.

  • Allow 6 ft. between you and other shoppers in line.

  • Do not touch food or merchandise unless a vendor specifies it okay AND you are purchasing the item.

  • NO PETS (this is not a new rule, and will still be enforced)

  • Wash your produce or packaged food items as soon as you get home.

We are thankful for the opportunity to bring you fresh local food. Please be safe & do your part to help keep Dubuque as healthy as possible!
